When you find out your ” pretty” friend is gay it’s not appropriate to say things like, ” oh but you’re so pretty” or ” oh that’s such a waste.” these phrases are hurtful and rude. Are lesbians supposed to be ugly? And a waste of what exactly?

If you are a lesbian and you come across a drop dead gorgeous girl and you find out she is also a lesbian, don’t assume she is confused. Don’t question her sexuality because you too have such a closed stereotypical mind. This is your sister in your community. Support each other.

Zimmerman replied: “Yep.” “Okay, we don’t need you to do that,” the dispatcher warned. Several minutes later, according to other callers to 911 in the neighborhood, Zimmerman and Martin got into a wrestling match on the ground. One of the pair could be heard screaming for help. Then a single shot rang out, and Martin lay dead. How the fuck is he not convicted yet? Florida has this weird “stand your ground” law that permits a person to use deadly force if he or she feels “threatened.” It’s pretty weird for a country that likes to tout itself as a Christian nation put into effect something like this. What happened to turn the other cheek? Please don’t overlook this; any reblog would help spread more awareness and divulge further information regarding this tearful tragedy. Stuff like this happens too much and too often to go unnoticed, but when we’re given the opportunity to galvanize the masses with headlines like this, we’re making the first step in the right direction.
